Ground Dynamics

RE: Ground Dynamics
Thanks, i checked out the site. They have some nice kits but yes they are all fiberglass. What ive been hearing is leading me away from the fiberglass, especially the kits that are like $300.00, good price but if its gonna be a hassle to install it and if it gets messed up too early on, it'll be a waste for me. Does anyone have any fiberglass kit stories, out of curiousity?
Thanks.
Thanks.

actaully to contradict myself, with my fiberglass kiti scraped RELALY bad one time it was just fine, kinda odd, i thought that thing would shatter lol

RE: Ground Dynamics
well, I've only had one fiberglass kit (I'm not really into the look of kits anymore), but it took a hard-packed snowbank to the front bumper (sideways lol)at about 25mph to even crack the thing. Please, no Tokyo Drift comments lol.
The bottom line: if you think you can avoid driving like you're trying out for a role in the next F&tF movie, you should be fine with fiberglass. It's hard to crack the sides and everything by just scraping (and you get used to the sound of fiberglass on pavement), though accidents are another story. Also, the fitment really depends on the individual kit (I had no real problems with my fiberglass kits, but I've heard and seen nightmare stories). If you plan on getting into accidents or using your car as a battering ram and have the extra cash, I'd go with urethane.

Wow, interesting, well i can say that i wont be driving into anything. Im a real good driver I'd say, my last car i heardly had any issues with accidents or anything. If i do look into the fiberglass i surely wont be lowering the car down like i wanted to, cause i dont need to be closer to the ground.
Thanks, for the advice.

^ that's where I bought my R34/Black Widow kit. Great prices, great shipping (about a week), great quality. Unfortunately, I think they only carry fiberglass. Still, I scraped all the time with my fiberglass kit before I took it off; I never even cracked it.
