Default guage cluster repair

hey everyone, so my guage cluster was very dimly lit at night, but then I realized it was because the previous owner had put aftermarket guage faces on them, so this weekend I took them off, which was a huge improvement, except my friend knocked the engine temp needle out of the guage. I can see there's a little hole where the peg should fit, but it's so freaking small I can't get it in there, has anyone dealt with this problem, or have any suggestions about how to fix it?

i didn't say gauge cluster, i said gauge, i ordered my gas gauge and temp gauge combo for about 20 bucks, no need to fork out the money for a new cluster.

yeah, with hondas, the needles don't come off. When they do, you're SOL. Just look for a new guage on ebay.
