Default H4-1 vs. H4-2

I am doing a HID conversion on my 97 Honda Civic DX, my headlight options are H4-1 or H4-2. What is the difference and which one should I choose?

ummmm..... can you be a little more specific, i know a **** load about HID's and still have no idea what you're talking about. if you are using your stock headlights then H4 is all you need.

Do you mean H4 low beam, and H4 Bixenon? if so the Bixenon is both high and low beams that's the one i'd recomend

h4-1 is just standard lowbeams. and h4-2 is both low beam and high beam.

well that H4-1 just means no regular highbeam bulb... the H4-2 has the regular crappy halogen bulb.....
id say if its a option just get the H4-1 cause that highbeam regular bulb IS CRAP!!!!!!!!!!
tho my hids from oznium.com dont have that H4-1/2 stuff.. just H4 with the low HID bulb and high halogen bulb, and then the H4 BIxenon version which uses a electro magnet to move the bulb for the HIGH beam effect. i highly advice that type as well!

just remember when instaling the HIDs in stock housings to adjust the headlights accordingly, which means moving the beam DOWN from stock position to prevent glare for other drivers and to keep you from getting flashed at all the time or cops messing with you as well!

okay, perfect thanks guys, what about 6000k vs. 8000k...which one has a better output in my reflector headlamps, and which one is less likely to get my @$$ pulled over.

^dito....
heres a picture of my 6K right and 8K left bulb....

6Ks will look good if your worried about getting hurassed.
i desided to swap to 8K bulbs myself cause alittle better STYLE looks, just not as bright as the 6Ks if you want the closest to OEM look than go around 4Ks

You think because I am running stock reflector headlights I will give off a crappy projection? Like scattered and crap?

do not order from that company you posted above...they are absolutly horrible....i made the mistake of ordering from them and from the start one bulb did not work and it took 3 months to get them...when i tried to contact the company about the bulb their phones say that they do not accept incoming calls and they will not respond to emails
