yea, i just got my dual halo projectors in recently. If you wire them to a switch, the halos will last a lot longer. that is the way i did mine. i heard once the halos go out, you cant replace them so it may be worthy to take the time and wire them to a switch.

 

you can replace them..ill post the link when i find it, wiring to a switch lasts longer because you can shut it on and off anytime

 

oh, well you gave me the instructions to wire it to a switch so i did that to help make them last longer. ill include a picture of the switch here.

I've got my halo's wired up so they come on with the running lights but shut off when the low beams come on.

 

Oh yeah... did you ever write up a DIY for the forum? I told you I was interested in that as well!

 

moogly are you talking about wiring them up with your fogs or a switch? Mill told me how to do it with a switch if thats what youre looking for.
