I have a 99 civic. Installing the lights are easy but it is impossible to aim the projector beam. It just aims right in front of the car and you cant see anything. Ive been having to drive around with my high beams all the time.

 

lol yeah it takes longer to adjust them than to install them.

 

yeah i've heard its hard to aim them... i havent fully installed my lights yet... still have some wiring to do for the rings, ran out of wire last night... but yeah, i dont have any advice really since i havent done it yet lol, but i had to figure out how to install the huge wiring harness that came with my halo's lol, and no directions, but i enjoy figuring things out so its all good with me... good luck with your aiming though.

 

It took me 5 minutes to aim mine, just do it at night against a wall.

 

how do you aim them when they're bolted in? I cant really get a socket in there in the dark and in the tigth space behind the housing......

 

use a screwdriver to turn the little wheel. Just be careful not to damage the wheel, its plastic

 

I never had to aim mine, guess I got lucky[&:]

 

There are a few threads on adjusting halos, just try a quick search for them. And once you get them aimed properly you might try some different bulbs. Plus you can always upgrade to HIDs.

 

LOL.... I drove around with my high beams on until i got a ticket for it... Like someone mention already, use a screw driver to turn them...

 

yeah it take patience to adjust the projectors, what i did is when i finally got it adjusted, and still wasnt happy with the light output, i went and got hid's for em, now i can see everything
