i actually like hatches more than coupes BUT,
please don't get chromes, for all of us
i wouldn't go with 17's either, it's just a rough ride that you'll regret like i do
that's why i'm going for 15's right now

lol! why should i not get chromes? i think they look awsome on the civic hatchbacks, ive seen a few around where i live and they look good! yeah a lot of people have said that 17's and 60mm dropp is not a comfortable ride, i was thinkin of 16's but the choice of wheels is limited with 16 inch!

it's very clean, chrome on a civic just doesn't go together to nicely, especially on silver

i'd say get something along the lines of a 15/16 inch rim with gunmetal or black (black would match your black trim) with a polished lip, imo that would be best for looks and performance

Nice hatch. I agree, avoid chrome unless it's just what you like.Don't let us convince you otherwise (though hard we may try ) Butif you want some great hatch ideas, this thread should keep you busy for a while...

yeah i get what u guys mean, well at first i wanted to get black rims with the silver lip polish (what u suggested) but i had seen a few civics with the similar rims that i want and it didnt look so good, maybe it was just those specific civics? i dunno! These are the rims i was looking to get at first, they are both 17's, what do you think?

I agree. One of the reasons 17-inchers should be avoided is their weight. All that extra weight requires lots of extra torque to rotate them. Your car will feel slower because of this. Also, the extra weight is unsprung weight, meaning your ride quality will suffer for that reason and because the tire rubber cross section provides virtually no cushion at all. You can find 16-inchers that are only 12 lbs each, but they are expensive ($300 each), forged aluminum. It's easier to find a sub-15-lb wheel if you go 15s, but you will have to search some. I agree that black with a polished lip looks great on silver cars.

i would seriously look into 16's if you have future plans in dropping. those wheels look pretty good, i've got similar wheels to the first one, and i've got many compliments on them, except for the people that hate big wheels, lol.
