I'm planning to swap out the stock headlight assemblies and put in something with projectors. Do i really have to remove the front bumper to get the headlights out??? Also, if the new assemblies have projector headlights with reflector type high beams, I'm assuming I have to run another harness for the high beams. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

 

i dont no about the second question, but yes you do need to take off the bumper...you MIGHT be able to get them off with the bumper on but it would be 100 times harder, the bumper is sooo simple to take off anyways, 5 min to take it off, 5 clips on the top that pop out, 2 screws in the corner of the fender attaching it to the bumper, and a couple screws underneath the bumper..and its off

 

nice. glad to hear it's easy to remove. i just bought this puppy so i'm not famaliar with it yet. can't wait to start trickin' it out.

 

what headlights to you have mill$civic?? it looks like you got projectors for your headlights and reflector type outter's for your high beams???? am i wrong? you gotta forgive me I'm new to the civic world.

 

dont worry, we were all there once....they are aftermarket projecter headlights, they came assembled like that
