Default headlights

Any ideas on how to knock out that orange crap in the 2003 civic lx headlights?

Default RE: headlights

you would need to take your headlights apart by melting the glue around it with a heat gun and they open them up and you should be able to push them out, depending how there held in there tho it might look crappy

Default RE: headlights

i did it to my 01, and it wasn't tough at all. the inserts just clip on, so there's no adhesive or anything left behind. it does get a little complicated though to get to the lights. you'll have to remove the front bumper. once that's done, remove the lights from the car and GENTLY start prying the two pieces apart. you don't need to use any heat, the adhesive gives after a while. then just pop out the inserts, put the headlight back together, making sure it's nice and sealed and go in reverse order to put the car back together. one side note, the bulb in the amber area is a little off-color compared to the actual headlights, so if you want them to match, replace them while the headlights are accessible. hope that helps.
