Default headlights

Hey guys, i think the time has come to get rid of the old fading headlights and take advantage of the canadian dollar. i'm debating on clear, or black housing. and should i get the kit that comes with the grill or not. my grill has faded also. damn winter salt eats up so much. basicly, i'm asking if any one knows if there is any diffrence in light reflection in the clear or the black housing light. i've heard some ppl saying black housing looks better but will also lose brightness at night...is that true?
i know having carbon colored headlights cover will do so. but just having the housing colored shouldnt affect visibility would it? just trying to make the right decision without sacraficing night driving conditions.

and what about the dual halo projector headlights? are those worth it?

thnx

If you mean the lens, the plastic in the front. I would go clear for sure, but for the housing, maybe a gun metal gray would look sweet. And for projector's, I like it, some people don't...

True black housing is just a bit darker than silver...not flat black. It's still mirrored but the way it looks is a lot darker. It shouldn't really effect the amount of light because it's still mirrored.
