i am switching back to the stock style headlights soon (black housing jdm style) so therefore, the bulb is going to be an h4. i want the 8000k but on the site there is 2 different types. one which is the (bi-xenon) kit and the other is just the regular hid kit. what is the difference? the bi-xenon one is $170 more.......someone help me and tell me what the difference is and which i should get.

the bi-zenon kit is so your bright lights still function..... suposedly a magnet on the bulb activates which angles the bulbs different to look like a high beam...
the cheaper kit is just HIDs for the low beam and a REALY crapy regular bulb for your suposed highbeams....

DO NOT DO 8k!!! Please dont! They were horrible and I took mine out after a month. No joke, they are cool on the outside, but in your car on the road.... say goodbye to safe night driving!

thats what i was thinking...and i think that 8k should be ok. everybody that i talk to that has 8k really likes them. im a ways from getting them anyways but i just needed to know which kit to get. honestly, which one should i buy? the bi-xenon one or the regular?

id spend the extra for the BIs.....
i like my 6Ks
cops shouldnt mess with ya as much since they look closer to stock HIDs... just a slight blue tint which i like best myself...

so with the bi's i will have hi/low beam correct? dang thats alot of $$ but im saving up. lol my dad just CANT know i even bought them. so am i going to be able to install them myself?

ya you should be able to instal them yourself no problem.... but ya will need a little light tester so ya know which wire on the headlight harness is for the low or high beam and then the ground... but thats it... everything needed should come with the kit.
