Im in the process of gutting my interior and redoing it all and i was wondering if anyone knew how to get the dash and the piece surrounding the radio off? Also im buying a body kit and does anone know how much, on average, it costs to paint that? How much body work noramally needs to be done? Im getting it painted to black to match.

 

to get the dash piece off you are going to have to get behind your dash. there will be screws that hold that piece in there from the back.
also for the body kit since you are painting it black it shouldnt cost much money. probably around 400-500 bucks. make sure you get a urethane kit, i have one for sale if you are looking for one. the body work depends on the quality of kit and what its made out of. if you get fiberglass your more than likely going to have to add tabs to make it to fit.

the urethane kit is more flexible than fiberglass and the cut is more precise on it so that you can actually make holes if they havent come predrilled for you. its a lot better quality, if you scrape urethane it will not chip the paint or crack your bumper but if you do this with fiberglass then your in for a long haul and you will not like it. i have used both types before.

 

def go urethane for the kit lasts longer i have fiberglass and cracked my front bumper all up. but as long as u don't drive like a a hole fiberglass could last but u have to buy brand name not ebay 199 for a full kit. they have blue class fiberglass that is really flexible so check that out if u don't find a kit in urethane u like but get ready to pay for good fiberglass kit is about 1500
