I had 700k's in stock housing never got flashed ones... but i recomend if you want to see in the rain or show to not go over 6000k, i would go with 4300k myself (and did for the retro actually)

Still wont be as good as a retro, but it's up to you... it's less of a headache then a retro i will be honest though

im a fan of 6-8K hids...... my 99civic has both in them.LOL

one side has 6K and one side has 8K BUT BEFORE YA SAY WTF it was because i had a bad bulb.... and when they sent me the replacement bulb someone goofed up and sent me a 8K hid bulb... and i still needed it and i liked its slightly different color alittle more blue so i kept it. and now i bought a new 8K bulb to replace the old 6K bulb with BUT since the cars been parked for so long i havent felt the need to rush out thier and replace the old bulb.LOL ill get a few comparison pictures for ya alittle later tonight...

Definitely. After 4200K your light output starts to take a dive. There's a reason cars come with 4200-4800K as OEM.

ok well i forgot to snap pictures the other day but this is the difference between
8K hids and 6K hids.

8K hid in drivers side, and 6K hid is the passenger headlight.

and no my headlights are aimed good its just the shops floor not so level where its parked.

its a preference if ya ask me.
either way HIDs are gonna be ALOT brighter than your stock bulbs!
but if you want the BRIGHTEST go with the low 4K rattings. but if ya dont care for the yellow the 6K and 8Ks are a good choice IMO.
