Hit a roo
Driving to the snow at about 0530h, still dark, doing 120 km/h (75 mph)on the highway, when a pair of roos(kangaroos) jump out in front of me. Growing up to and over 2 m (6 ft 6inch) these arnt little fluffy nice overgrown rabbits. Ive seen one hit by a station wagon at 80 km/h, immobilise the car in the colision by doing sufficient damage to the engine bay, and then get up and proceed to attack the car. The driver than got out to shoo it off, and it attacked him and put him in hospital and was only stopped by the wife getting a lucky fatal blow with the heel of a steletto to the head. Anyway, moral of the story is, roos are pretty damn tough. So when a pair of them jumpout 30m infront of me at 120km/h, the very last thing I want is a roo, or two, crushing my front bar, radiator and bonnet as they roll up it, and comming through my windshield, landing on my lap. So I swerved for the only option I had, the gap between them that was about as wide as my car plus a foot. I missed old mate on the right by about half a foot, running over his tail, and all was going to plan until the second one jumped into the side of my bonnetas I passed. The result is a smashed light, a completely totalled quater pannel, and a big dint in the hood where his head hit I think. Other than that, he just folded in my mirror and left a nasty blood smear down the side of the car. As a result, Im looking at some new parts. The car is currently white, looking to go black soon, so this is what I have been looking at:
Any opinions?? I am going for the stealth look instead of the bling look. Build Rule #1: No crome shall touch this cars exterior (I opened my Hot4s magazine to a feature of a 1998 Honda Civic with these parts and I fell inlove. It must be fate)

Dang man, that sucks about the roo....just be glad you didn't tag a moose. I've seen pics of a semi-truck written off from hitting one of em. Best of luck with the rebuild, make sure you get pics up when you're done
Personally I'm more performance based, so I can't stand the "Z3" fenders of the projector headlights. The projectors cut down on your visibility and they shoot really low. Atleast the ones that I have and I can't adjust them any higher. I personally regret getting them and I'm going back to stock. But thats just me.. I see those more as ricer mods.
and in reply to civic b.. i don't think its a ricer mod at all.. a ricer is somebody who just throws tacky *** cheap parts on there car and pretends its fast when racin around the streets.. if somebodys gonna do a body mod like addin vents or shaving emblems or what not that takes more effort then just slappin somthin from the store on in the parkin lot and thinkin its hot **** hahaha.. not everythings performance, appearnece is a big thing.. nobody goin down the street can see you have performance unless your racingbut everybody will see you comin if you got nice body mods..
