Default Honda Civic Side Skirts

I need info on how to install side skirts on a honda civic 97 4dr. and i was wondering if I should have the side skirts painted before or after I have them installed. Me and my friends installed the front and back bumpers and they are in the shop being painted right now but I need to know how to go about getting these side skirts on and painted, thanks.

Hi
For the side skirts to get them on you can screw them if they over lap under the wheel well. Also double sided tape or glue well work. But before you get it painted make sure that your full body kits is sagging a bit so that the paint well get over every part. Also for the side skirt you can get them molded but if you wanna save a few bucks go with the glue and tape. Personally i think it looks fine.

I think he's referring to 3m adhesive. Buy a strip of that and run it along the top(inside) of the skirt where it will line up to the body of your car, it will help hold it and keep water from building up in there. Then then will be screwed in on the ends... INSIDE the wheelwell.

Thanks for all the help I was also wondering if They make a flaxible paint for cars. I know that clear caot and base caot give a little but is there such a thing as flexible paint. to avoid the cracks that come along with fiberglass badykits. thanks again.

the body shop can add a flex agent into the paint but i think it changes the paint a lil and is harder to match plus its a fiberglass so if u hit it hard enough which isn't very hard it will crack the kit itself..
