I just suggest vinyl because it's easy to use, it stays on but is easy to remove if needed, and you can get it in tons of colors. I get small scraps from a custom sign shop back home. Just look in the phonebook for sign makers. They may even just give you the small vinyl piece for free! I even used vinyl for headlight eye lids. I actually bought a set of plastic ones but one flew off on the freeway. I have to update my pics so you can see the eye lids, it's pretty sweet.

Did you use tint film to tint the tail lights? Might wanna redo them or think about spray tint. From the picture it looks like its peeling off.

...i don't have my tails tinted yet, i just did it in photoshop because i knew i was planning on doing it and wanted to know how the new emblem would look with blacked tails

There are two holes throught the metal of the trunk on my 98 EX. That is the only reason I have yet to remove it. I just painted it black and it looks nice enough, until I do all the body work and get it painted. But yes on a 96-00 civic there will be two little holes if you take off the "H"
