Default How to retrofit 2000 bumoer on 97 civic??

Iv'e been searching for days now and haven't found a DIY to make the 2000 bumper fit the 97 front end. Does anyone have any information on how to do it, or if its even possible?

Plz dont respond 'just get the 2000 front end'. I know it's better, but i just want the damn bumper lol.

Unfortunately... the only way is to "just get the 2000 front end". The fenders are different so the bumper won't line up. The hood is different so the grille won't line up. The radiator core support is different, so the bumper won't line up. Even the grilles are different.

Unless you're REALLY good at fiberglassing, the only true way to make a 99-00 front end fit on a 96-98 car is to do the whole swap. The fiberglass method includes hacking the two bumpers up and putting them together in a way that resembles the 99-00 front end with the fit of the 96-98. That's more work than replacing the whole front cap.

I'm sorry that's not what you wanna hear, but that's how it is.

I like both front ends, but I like the way the fogs are on the 99-00 better... even though I have yet to get some lol
