When I bought my car, I thought about getting a carbon fiber hood and lighter rims. I like how black rims look on most cars, but not really on my red civ. So I was thinking about going with white rims and getting a CF hook and painting it white. My car is lowered and thats the only semi "appearance" mod I have, and I dont wanna start making my car look ricey. I know everyone has their own opinion as to what "rice" is, but honestly guys, do you think this will look alright?

i love white rims on red cars. if i ever got rims i would do that. but i wouldnt paint the hood white, just leave that carbon fiber

well the black rims would match the c/f hood nicely. as far as the white rims go, if ya like them, get them but they just seem to get WAYY to dirty.

 

If i leave the CF the grayish black color it wont really match the rims. (im like borderline compulsive about matching haha)

And yea..I heard that I can get good money for the Si rims, So I figured Id sell those and put them toward wat new rims cost me.

 

if you want to try some rims out, let me know and I can Photoshop them onto your car!

Not sure. I'm a fan of black rims on red cars especially if you go with a cf hood. If you have a cf hood + red car + white rims I think it would look [:'(]. Even gunmetal would look nice.

i like dark wheels on red cars, but if you dont like black, look into maybe some gunmetal or even GM with a polished lip. it breaks up th edark enough, and looks sweet. it looks meaner than white wheels, whcih kinda look more, umm, elegant? or classy? i like the viciousness of dark colors. look into Rotas, they are cheaper than most, and lighter as well, so you will get a bit of performance gain too. and when you get them, we could work out a trade for install labor for a bunch of parts for your stockers. i want another set really bad, and i will install a whole bunch of stuff in trade.
