I have a 94 civic 4dr, and its currently my project car... right now its stock but i have all the parts in my basment waiting for the weather to start getting warmer to start putting everything on and taking it to get painted... the exterior of the car is goin to be glossy black... now the interior is stock so its grey... i need a opin. from people here to see how this would look... being that the interior is grey, i was thinking about coloring the door panel inserts to black... i'm goin to replace the floor carpet with black... i bought myself a black shift **** and a carbon fiber eb handle... i thought about adding the carbon fiber dash trim kit... what do you think? would it look tacky? would it match?

 

Since its a project car, I would do a teggy or a Rsx dash conversion. It would be real nice, and Its possible,I have seen a couple cars with it.

 

how hard would it be to do that, and where can i buy the parts at....

 

I like you thoughts on painting stuff. Don't forget a clear coat. I did and now I have to repaint everything. I don't think you'll like the CF dash kits. They do look tacky, sadly. Unless, you got the really expensive aluminum dash kit with every single piece. Those are okay.

 

Carbon Fiber dash/interior accents look sick IMO, but make sure to get REAL cf, not the carbon fiber style decal stuff. You can get away with it on your exterior if youre lucky, but interior it looks kind of tacky. But like Mill$ said, since its a project car, i say go all out with the dash conversion. As for the parts, ebay is always a good idea.

 

i thinkthe cf idea looks terrible personally, & its not exactly unique anymore. Now a civic with a dash conversion, thats sounding pretty unique to me

 

i would do the conversion but what exactly would i need to buy... i really dunno much about dash's when it comes to another car, other than civic's... i really haven't done a conversion before but now that you threw it at me, i would like to... i can get someone that knows alot about sh*t like that and ask for a hand...

 

personaly id just take the dash out and just dye it black......... but if its a dark grey color i wouldnt worry about it myself...
