I am wanting some opinions on my carbon fibre fenders. They came on the car when i bought it but they arent in the greatest shape and they dont seem to be a perfect fit ( around the headlights) check out my pics in my gallery and tell me what you guys and gals think. I was planning on getting rid of them for some password jdm pieces with smoked marker lights but alot of people i know said that i should keep them so i just wanted to here the word from some true civic enthusiast. They look ok, they don't match your car though, if your going to keep them get a CF hood to go with them, maybe a CF lip as well. But I think you should buy the password JDM ones with the side markers.

Get stock factory fenders, just replace the Hood from either passwordjdm or seibon.
Cf lower lip will be a bonus to the overall looks.

 

It would look SO much better with black fenders. Stock or whatever you go with, but the CF not matching is killing the clean look the car has.

 

Why not just paint them? Even if you get the password JDM ones, you're gonna need to paint a set of fenders.

 

sell them and get a cf hood. cf fenders just look out of place to me.

 

Yeah i agree they do look outta place if i get a set of factory or password jdm fenders where should i get them painted i am not wanting to spend a crapload but i want them to look better than a macco job?

 

Loose the fenders and get a carbon fiber hood.

 

Everyone has a bad view of Maaco. They arent all bad, just depends on the one you go to and the paint job you pick. If you get the clear coat job for about 1k for the entire car it looks good and has a good warrenty. But for the fenders, you can paint them youself. Just sand, primer, wet sand, paint, clear. Fenders are good to learn on...not much shape to have to work with.
