ok, like my profile says im not a owner of a civic i got a 78 malibu classic. iam lookin forsome ideas for interior stuff. i got a console drawn up with a 6x9 mounted in it, and two gauges, i seen on here before lots of sweet stuff with LEDs and what not i would like to incorporate that kinda thing in my car. but it would have to be suttle cause its a muscle car[8D]. any ideas? PS would mdf be the best to use for a console or would it be safe to go lighter plywood?? cause the 6x9 is not needed for bass

 

nice year for the malibu, very tough. i almost bought one years back. for led info check out oznium.com and go nuts but keep it clean. mdf is good but you prolly wont need anything too thick (ie-1/2"). plywood is usually crappy material cuz it lacks the nice density of mdf. so try something with some decent density for speakers even if theyre only 6x9's.
