Interior velvet question
ok i got a pic at the bottom of what i wanna do to my interior, you hardly ever see this in cars and its very clean, and i also want to make custom fiberglass speaker molds where the door is and some custome fiberglass gauge pods somewhere on the dash so this will cover it up very nicely instead of spending hours sanding and sanding..its gunna be the same style, but the material might be a little bit darker, im not sure what kind of material this is,its kind of a velvet type but its not velvet, i forget the name. The only thing i am afrade of is the sun discolering it or it getting stained since this is my daily driver but i do keep my car very very clean..what do u guys think????

RE: Interior velvet question
looks very nice, looks like suede to me. also looks very expensive. if you can afford it, you the man. the ladies will love it. just like a nice shirt, if it feels good ladies wanna touch it, hence they wanna touch you. also fading can be prevented by purchasing a car cover and *gasp* actually using it everytime you park for an extended period of time. good luck.

RE: Interior velvet question
Yeah, that looks like a lot of work, but you will definitely have the sweet interior.
I saw a guy's car the other day and he had painted misc. panels and grilles and I just didn't like the way it looked. The paint made the pieces really glossy and cheap looking.
