I think it would look alright...It reminds me of the German tags Vdub owners get.

Yupp Euro plates look sick on Vdubs and I just can see a front Jap plate on a civic to look just as cool.

The only plate I like are the ones that make me laugh. Otherwise, why waste the money IMO.

Pic of a funny I am referring to..

Personally I've never been a fan of Japanese plates on Asian cars or German plates on Euro cars. I wouldn't call it rice, but I wouldn't call it clean either as there's no point in doing it and it just clutters up the front end of the car.

I don't see the point, it's a license plate from another country... that's cool how? And I agree with reaper, it's even worse when people end up putting both a japanese/euro plate along with the original plate on there, looks like crap and just clutters the bumper up.

Personally, i love it. I am going to get one for my civic (link below). I would just put it on for special events since in Minnesota we are required to have a state license plate on the front. I can understand why people say theres no point, or its a waste of money, but i think it adds a nice personal touch. just for fun. I say do it.

If I had a Japanese car not sold in the US like the Skyline or something, but on something as common as a civic....nah I wouldn't
