i currently have a 05 special edition 4 dr and i want to get the jdm fogs but the swith are for it is filled with the alarm led so i was wondering what an alternative to the swith can i just use it with a normal small switch

 

humm,i dont really understand what your saying..but i think your asking if you can use a normal switch for your fog lights? ...if thats the question then yes, you can hook it up the a 12v switch or splice the fog like wire right into your light harness so everytime you turn on your lights, the fogs will go on too

 

yes that was my question also im wondering if the jdm fogs for the 05 are long enought be placed in the slots near the 12v port or also on some the cigarette lighter

 

the wires are probably not long enoph..you need to buy the same gauge wire, probably about 14 -16 gauge..and extend the wires throught the engine bay to a switch, then hook the switch up to the 12v source

 

ohh ok yeah cause the area next to the 12v source is great but i figured it wouldnt be long enough or i just might make a custom switch other then the original in the normal place it should go. that would save alot of work.

 

ya you dont want to put a switch were you cant reach it all the time..i think you got it now
