with turbo kit and fine tune it should be about 200-215 hp.. i might get my head redone too. heard the seals can't take the turbo's heat.. hmmm.

For $700, I don't think the turbo will be able to take the heat, either. Unless you're talking about something tiny like a T25 or something... but at low boost on a tiny turbo, you're talking about very small gains compared to what you could have.

Personally, as far as new turbos go, I wouldn't spend less than $700 on the turbo alone, much less things like the wastegate (assuming the turbo isn't internally-gated), blow-off valve, injectors, etc. Some parts you can cheap out on (charge piping, intercooler, etc), but there are quite a few things I wouldn't want to go cheap on with forced induction.

And the seals in your engine will be fine with a turbo. If anything you may need stronger head studs, but that would be about it.

i blew a head gasket a while back and didn't replace the seals so thats why i'm replacing those .. of course the studs too.. and the kit is at a shop.. the itnercooler is seperate the one i want is 400 bucks from AEM.. The Turbo kit is suppose to be rated at 50-75 hp gain at low boost so i'd be happy getting the Sedan to 200 hp as a daily driver.. but i get what you are saying more power equals more. lol

I put a blitz body kit on my first car which sat kind of low and it didnt fit for ****. I had to break off the front where the grill is and re-center it. There wasnt enough lip on the edges to run bolts through to the fenders which didnt even matter because the sides werent wide enough to fit right with the fenders anyway. Molded it to the fenders on the inside and out. Same with the rear. Bottomed out going through an alley on my way to work and the damn thing got a massive chunk out of it and one of the sides split where it meets the fender and was dragging. I ripped the rest off by hand and shoved it as far as I could in the passenger window till I could get it home. Fixed it, repainted, added some more fiberglass to the inside of it to make it thicker, etc. Weeks later the bank driveway was too steep and it scraped which ended up cracking it again. Damn things a nightmare. Id rather be able to drive anywhere without worrying if the body is too much of a ***** to make it up this driveway or over that speedbump etc.
Im not saying dont do it. (Now if you hadnt already spent your money on this thing that would be a totally different story) but I just want you to know what your getting into.
BTW civic owners already have a bad rep due to asshats sticking unpainted body kits and big *** wheels or joe dirt spoilers etc. If your car ends up looking like a ****ty pile of rice and someone punches you in the dick, just know you deserve it for feeding the stereotype. On the other hand if you install this kit the right way such as this then I give you permission to go punch ricers in the dick.
