Default just instaled headlight covers 99civic

they do look preaty nice BUT i might add alittle tint spray to the headlight housings OR buy some black OEM style housings.

only 2 things im disapointed in on them...
1.. the hood has REALY GOT TO BE SLAMED SHUT for it to close and latch properly!
2. and the light output is alot worse than i though it would be from the carbon fiber style!

BUT i will be geting some true HIDs preaty soon so my light output should brought right back up and even nicer...

ALSO the sellers where SLOW AS HELL to ship these!!!!!!!
http://www.andysautosport.com/honda/...ht_covers/gts/
took em about 2weeks.... im not to happy about that length of time!

nice suttle difference... just needs to be alittle blacker for my black out style i would like....

tho i still have to sand out the lower clear taillight portion and retint them again after sanding all the tint off. its just not warm enough to paint them and its preaty cold so im preaty lazy.LOL
also i want to remove the EX off the trunk and just painting the H black. along with a OEM SI front grill to delete that H onfront.

I've never been a fan of headlight covers and if they are reducing the amount of light that shines through...I'd lose them quick.

im all about blacken out alot of the chrome on my civic

PLUS ive already been planing on upgrading my headlights to some 6K HIDs setup.

tho i will agree... if i wasnt gonna upgrade my headlights to some true HIDs id definatly pull these covers off! upgrading the bulbs with some nice ones probably would be enough BUT i want to go super bright so HIDs for me

Yeah if you black them out i think the only chance of seeing at night is with HIDs... maybe even going a little lower kelvin to make sure there is ZERO blue in it... I am not really sure as to what you put on your car... are they caps or something? DId you do an official review in the review section?

the headlight covers just kinda snap around the bottom and a velcro attachment on the top of the headlight housing... and the hood being closed realy tight... im preaty sure they wont come off.LOL

tho with the black OEM style headlights with the covers it should be black enough for me infront.
ive been thinken about geting some black projector housings.... just thinken tho.... im definatly not worried about blinding other people cause the car just sits so low it shouldnt be a problem.....

i put some in my old 96jimmy 4x4 and it wasnt that bad at all of a glare from comen head on...

kinda.LOL i wanted some rims for my civic and these where the only nice non destroyed rims around that i could drive to and pick up... only paid about 400bucks for the rims with some tires tho they where alittle large. but that gave me time to save up for the new tires...
BUT ill be sellen my rims to when ever i find someone that wants them.LOL
and ill be swaping my new tires on some new 17s, black multi spoke with some nice polished lips...
just to keep the chrome minimal....

this is the style ill be geting

i want to keep alittle bling.... but keepen it minimal and clean looken...
