i loved the fast and furious look 3 months ago.... heh, i still like some of the cars... but i cant see spending thousands of bux on body kits and lights and **** and it be a slow car.. if your gonna rock the rice, atleast make it fast...

 

or maybe I actually have the money so I can afford for a car to look nice. there's nothing wrong with shaved doors, I asked for your opinion on what to buy, and what to look for, not if I should do it or not. It's my car remember? Not yours

well you wanted opinions and most people here aim for "clean" rather then tuner-mods. but if you were to do it you would need the door popper, solenoids, transmitters(necessary remotes), wires and power source to make it all work.

 

that's funny, I don't see very many "nice" cars (i.e. luxury cars) with door poppers.

 

i wasnt aiming my comment at anyone, i was just saying... if i look around somewhere on my laptop, i have a list of all the **** i wanted to do to my car... shaved handles was one of them, im not bashing anyone, just sayin... i dont lke them now tho..

you also have to understand that this forum has a "clique" kinda group of members. their styles might not flow well with your style. people are going to make comments that you dont like sometimes.. and honestly, if you got the money, why not worry about the motor and power instead of cosmetic upgrades. you might get a few oohs and ahhs but if you got a civic that can throw people back in their seat and shut em up, you get more respect, ya know what i mean?

 

yeah, I know exactly what you mean, and to be honest, if I were in your position I'd probably say the exact same smart *** things haha. Anyway (damn I'm lucky) a buddy of mine owns a civic junkyard and I asked him to go out today and look for a damn nice vtec for me. I'll see what he comes up with tomorrow, I'm so isited! haha
