largest rims ???????
You can probably fit 18's just fine. But you have to remember, the bigger the wheel, the rougher the ride will be due to having less rubber between the rim and road. Personally I wouldn't go bigger than 17's. I'm sure some other members would say to not go larger than 16's if ride quality is something you care about.

i had 17's and the ride quality wasnt that bad. but i noticed after i lowerd and put the 14's on it was worse and has horrible handeling now.i would recomend maybe 16 or possibly 15's but make shure it is a wider rim and a little bit lower profile tire deffinantly helps in handeling:P IMO
I've had 17's with 205/40/17 tires on two different rigs...they both rode hard, you could feel everything on the road, and on top of that then bend/dent easy. I've got a car with 16's and 205/45/16 tires and the ride is improved from the 17's but still leaves something to be desired. I went from the 17's to 15's on my civic and the ride is comfortable. I cant feelmuch difference in handling between the 3. When riding on my 14" steelies the ride becomes bouncy and the handling is inferior.
So those who say 17's and 18's ride fine are full of crap. As far as having to mod your rig to make them fit...just make sure you get somewhere around a +42 offset and you shouldn't be too bad.

I have 17in rims on my civic, and like everyone has been saying, the ride quality is not as good as when I had 15's on. They fit perfect and look nice, but if a smooth ride is what you want, go with 16's maybe even 15's.
