My friend bought an aftermarket leather seat cover for her 06 CivicLX, to her dismay she couldn't install them because of the side airbags. I borrowed them and plan to install them in my 05 LX 4dr. I was able to do the front seat (but not the headrest), but can anyone help me out with the back? Or is it possible in the first place to install them on a 60/40 split rear seat?

If not, where can I buy aftermarket 'nice' leather seatcovers specifically for 05LX 4dr? Thanks in advance for your help.

 

I'm not sure but you AND your friend can both get custom leather upholstry for your civics for approximately $1,000 if you're willing to buy the real thing.

lots of car detailing shops offer seat reupholstering. you get to choose the color and quality of leather and you know that it will fit perfectly. lol.

 

1000$? eww that's expensive... we're looking for cheapo alternatives to 'leatherize' our interiors. I see some leather seat covers in ebay though. like this one:
