Whats the diff between a urethane mugen, type r, or whatever lip, compared to a regular one, is it that much better and why? whats the advantage?

 

The style is different and there is barely no advantage.

 

so why is urethane priced higher?

 

urethane are usually unbreakable and OEM Fitment.

yeah urethane is longer lasting cause if you bump a curb or parking bumper, or an old lady with a shopping cart, you wont have to get fiberglass work done O.o

but from what ive been gathering urethane isnt as common as fiberglass.

 

get urethane. you will regret 'glass.

 

polyurethane is way better than fiberglass...like they said..but there is something else out there that is better than polyurethane, but i just can't think of the name of that type of material right now..oh yea...it is polyfiber...look around for polyfiber lips...or kits..

 

actually the cheaper ones you usually see are ABS plastic, not fiberglass. its why they're cheaper, abs plastic costs the same as dirt. if you can find urethane though go with that. the corners of my abs mugen lip cracked like eggs on this little snowbank. you can bend urethane alot more and its fine
