Default little mods

well I ripped out my grey carpet to replace with black. I bought a roll of replacement carpet from Walmart. I laid down the passenger side and am starting on the driver side probably tomorrow or Fri.

I am also going to clean the engine this week. I'll take before and after pics. I'll keep posted.

I bought a mesh gutter guard that I am gonna put on my grill. I'll put pics of that up later.

I finally went to the junk yard today. I found a passenger mirror that I put on soon after I left the place. I also found a '91 dx that has black interior so I pulled a couple panels today. I am going back either tomorrow or Sat to get the rest. I am also grabbing the black carpet (still in one piece) since it fits better than the $8 roll I got from Walmart. I am doing a good job with the roll though. I will try and get a good pic of my progress for you guys.

nice man.. i bought some carpet from wallly world too.. i got black (mine was 29.98 tho [:'(]) but yeah i got the area rug **** haha.. but the trick with that stuff is lay it down on a reallly REALLY hot day.. even tho you can barley stand the heat and then lay like weights in around the trani hump.. it stretches it out nice.. and then after leavin those weights in for a few days werhe its really hot.. pull the seats and go from one side and clamp the one side down and streatch it nicely and bolt in the one seat then stretch it down and around the trani hump and bolt down the other seat and then screw on the trim on the other side! turns out nice bro.. it will look good! keep posted! i'll try gettin a pic of mine up too

Here are the pics I took. I have only done the passenger side, and after taking a second look at the carpet in the junkie, I am just going to finish my first plan. My top priority now is cleaning the engine though. It is filthy and oil/crud coated. The last pic is in case anyone wants to see what it looks like under the carpet. It is not glued down, just set to fit right now.
