anything should work fine as long as its name brand, read the reviews users have posted here to help find the perfect set.

anything that you do to lower your car will need an alignment after, so your tires dont unevenly wear. and you are going to need aftermarket shocks to go with your coilover kit. read this. it has some very good info in it.

You should probably ask questions like this in the suspension section. But I would recommend getting a nice set of coilovers just for the adjustability. Might want to have a different ride height for winters and you'll be sure you wont have rubbing issues.

-Ground control coilovers
-KONI struts
=Don't bother with a camber kit. I ran -3 degrees of camber on all four corners and had no noticeable tire wear on my civic.
-Have the car aligned after lowering it.

I just put a new set of Tein springs on my car and I am very pleased with the results. You can see before and after pictures on my project thread (HX Hybrid). I will need a camber kit in the rear because of some other things that I did. But a friend of mine talked me out of the coilovers because I didn't want to spend the time and money to adjust the height and get it aligned every time I changed the coilover settings. I did not change my struts/shocks yet but that will be next.

I've had tein basics, SS's and now recently D2 coilovers on my car.

They are all great coilovers and will all accomplish the job of getting you low.
