Default Mini Photoshoot

got my Nikon D40 so i went back to the beach for the second day to grab some better shots. if anyone of you is familiar with San Francisco, i was at Ocean Beach. the pictures didn't come out how i wanted. need to play around with the lenses settings and flash more. but here are the better ones out of more than 100 pictures i took. let me know what you think and how i can get the pictures to look better.

Yea looks really good. A few are a little dark tho. Keep the heavy light from the sun out of the direct line of the lens and turn your exposure time up to lighten those pics up. A bigger flash won't do much outside anyways. Are those pics in raw/unedited format?

Looks good, I love the nikon d series. I would like to get the d300, but i guess my d90 will do. you just need to play with the settings and exposure during twilight shoots. (thumbs up)

The only thing i don't really like on your car is the black side moldings, side skirts and lip. If they were painted to match it would look a million times cleaner and meaner. Silver is a sexy color if kept clean and simple, imo.

Ninja edit: and door handles.

i was going to get the D90, i liked it a lot. but went for the D40 because i am still a beginner to Digital SLR camera's and don't need all the functions the D90 can handle.

i actually think it doesn't look too bad right now, that's why i haven't got them painted yet. but i have thought of many times where i wanted to paint them, but i just don't got the patience and time. i will do it one day
