ya thiers pleanty... but for most the navigation system is extra add on unit........ i know it is for my alpine unit.... ya just have to buy the box and plug in a few ports..

 

i had my avic n2 when they first came out and i had navi and ipod hookup back then. also i installed it myself and mine is touch screen

figured i would post pics of my carputer





i custom made a pc to fit inside the cd changer case so it all looks stock....anything a pc can do it will do...its all touch screen.......just things to think about and was probably the same price lol and has more functionality

 

probably same price if ya built it yourself BUT no one has a list for exact parts or anything to build one yourself or the knowledge either.........
which is why i bought my alpine cause it was direct fit and not much cutting to the bezel...
nice little tax check well spent.

 

And I'm rich, BEEEYATCH! I'd love to make the thing look smooth like your carputer. And a big congratulations for the one-up and hi jack! Did you actually DIY? Could you show us how it can be done?

 

yea sorry my bad dude didnt mean to do that at all...and yes it was all done by me in about a week...and i have an exact part list and was gonna write up a how to but never have the time but if you were interested i could help ya out bro

i want a computer in my civic and just have a RCA video cable and RCA audio cables going into my radios input.... ill just use a little wireless mouse and flexable keyboard to mess around...
tho i got pleanty of places to hide my components

 

Yeah give us the info on the carputer... is it hooked up as an AUX on a deck like addiction2bass and mine or is the whole carputer the brains and the monitor?
