I think it looks pretty good, they dont look to big for the car because the civics are big now.

 

^ yeah the new civics are bigger, but 20"?? Atleast drop it man....or go offroading with those things

Well I too think they look good on there. Agreed that they fit the newer/bigger civic. I wouldnt like them on a 5th or 6th gen...but on that one I think they fit it well. Besides dont the 08's have a larger tire diameter than the older ones? Meaning that his 20's probably have close to the same sidewall as an 18 on say my car?

I would definately drop it a little and get rid of the fender gap though.

There's no denying that its going to be a harsh ride...205/40/17's were harsh enough for me.... but just for comparison+being kinda bored at work I found this using the calculator at discountire.com

The one on the left is an 18" tire sized appropriately for my car...the right is the 20" tire sized for his car...so being that the 08 runs a larger overall diameter its not much worse than an 18 for many of us.



Either way I say drop it and it will look killer...sorry about the rough ride[8D]

Yeah but 16's come stock on the 08...18"s would give him a 16" ride quality in comparison...


...I just hope your alignment is good, cause I wouldnt wanna be paying for those tires very often.

 

Wow I sure hope you saved the stock wheels/tires.....You better keep your eyes peeled for potholes....those rims are going to be BENT in a month or 2, and youll put the stockers back on and wish you never bought those hood-rich sized wheels.
