EJ8 is your chassis code... it's part of your VIN
it means 96-00 civic EX

I finished painting my valve cover today and it turned out pretty nice. Here is the before and after pic.

It took me about 6 hours. The hardest part is sanding down the "Honda" lettering once you've painted the entire cover. There is a write-up about painting valve covers in these forums, it sure helped me out! Give it a gander. Its amazing how much better it makes the engine bay look. Im very happy with the results.

haha thats a long time man. it looks so clean though, love it! wish my bay could be that nice/rust freedamn eastern cars.

actually what are those tubes coming out of your engine, the ones that were blue before and black now?

Those are the spark plugs wires. THe ones I had before (blue) were 10mm aftermarket wires. The bigger wires dont really do much for you unless you do a complete ignition upgrade, so I decided to just throw some 8mm wires back in.

hey sorry it took me so long to respond SevenKRedline. my rims are arospeed rsgt and the i droped by car with some s tech springs, no struts, and no camber kit (dont need one with the s techs) but thanks for the complement about my car. ur ride looks clean to!

Right on bro. I'll def. look into the s techs. That drop is clean as hell!

BTW - do the s techs only have one set drop rate? As in they only drop your ride a certain amount?
