hey guys, i'm a newb here to this forum and to the honda world. i have owned 2 honda's previously (89 prelude, 91 accord) but this will be my first project car. i got it red and have since done all the necessary body work to it for paint. I'm leaning towards white with CF accents here and there but still undecided. I'm looking for a body kit for it. I don't want something all riced up but something clean and somewhat classy. I'm not a huge fan of kits these days but i think the way that the del sol looks is very puney and weak. so i'm looking for something to make it look more agressive. i'll put pics of the car on a bit later once i take my lunch break and head to my hosue, i'll also post some pics of my engine tear down and the progress of that.

 

if you want subtle accents, lip kits are where its at. I think a white car with a CF hood would look sick, but any other CF accents are kind of over doing it.

no because when it says unricing and you go and put a cf stick on your gas door then thats not doing what the title says, so i dont bother to go back and check on it

alright well the cf gas door is gone, so are the viyls, and the kit, and the fake CF mirrors, and its debadged, and i'm ordering a lip kit instead. (quick update)


but i guess i'm a prime example, dont get a buncha ricey mods, you'll definitely regret it and have your own un-ricing project lol

 

welll when i accent a car it has to be symetrical... so no gas cap for me. i'm looking at definate Hood, trunk and license plate cover. other than that probably looking at some tinted window's and lip kit. i was thinking about possibly gettin the CF targa top and painting the pillars black, i think that would look really good!! i can do the search and find some lip kits but does anybody have any sites off the top of their head i can search first?

 

I'm suprised someone so enfatuated with symmetry would even consider going to the two-tone, "mad JDM tYte yO" route.

 

lol well in my head i can just picture it and it would look siq!!! i can have a buddy of mine paint it for nothing more than cost. however if i do that paint scheme i duno if i'd go w/ gold or black rims. i'd like to have gold but w/ black and white i think black would be the way to go. i'm a mod on the mitsu forum and i wanted these rims SOO bad a while back: http://www.mitsubishiforum.com/m_115743/tm.htm and i think they would just look beautiful on this car!
