Default My first "mods" and I'm CHUFFED!

Aright, recently bought my Civic as you know and had a crack at a few minor mods. (I have bigger things coming, wheels, lowring etc).

I think the standard interior is a tad dull so today I sprayed the door speaker panels blue to match the car, give a bit of colour to the inside. I did it properly as I didn't want the finish to be peeling in days to come.

I think they came out really nice and set of the interior well.
I have plans to spray other items to match this.

Also tinted my side repeaters blue to match the cars body, I have checked and they are still plenty visible when switched on so no legal issues there.

Anyway what do you guys think:
(Pics make the car look lighter then it is btw)

Interesting choice of customization... Plan on spray painting anything else?

I like the speaker grilles, but I think you should have left the side markers the way they were. If you want them to "blend" just take them off.

btw- what does "chuffed" mean?

I was chuffed when I saw your work. I like the speaker grilles, but the repeaters just aren't doin it for me.
Looks like you did a great job!

Cheers, yeah I think it came out pretty good too.

I've got some clear repeaters coming soon but I thought I might aswell have a go and doing something to the originals.

speaker grilles, thumbs up

side markers, meh. Doesn't really do it for me, but it looks like you did a pretty nice job, so as long as you like them then who cares what I think

I think it's unanimous, the speaker is good, side marker is not. But, hey do what you like, ultimately its your ride...
