Default Need help with interior

Hi everyone. I recently purchased a 2001 Honda Civic LX (4 door sedan). The owner before me installed a Sony Xplode deck. As you can see below, it looks pretty damn ugly. I got a new Pioneer deck that better matches the interior. What I want know to is... what's the name of the part that the red arrows are pointing to? I don't know what you call it. I want to replace with one that has a compartment door (see below).

That door is on the car stock. I do not believe that it will work with an aftermarket head unit. I like the stock bezel better, but it's something I've learned to live with.

When you get that Sony unit out, ship it to me so that I have something to install in my daughter's car. She doesn't have any tunes right now.

you aren't going to get an aftermarket head unit mounting bracket to look like stock. Honda has a tappered ISO mount. You can make a bracket face plate to look better than that but it will have to be custom made. Best place to go is a custom car audio shop, make sure to take pictures of exactlly what you want.

Stogieman,

Found a great website for aftermarket radio install kits. go to www.autotoys.com and search your particular year and model. they carry ISO, DIN, and Double Din kits for honda civic. hope this helps and you find what you are looking for
