Its way too big looking unless you have aftermarket side skirts and a rear lip.

back to discussion again.

right now mugen is off my list for sure. I've been constantly looking for an OEM si lip but no luck. they are all out of my price range. i'm seeing them on craigslist for $200-$250. and there's not much of those either.

Now to my decisions.
1. Get a type r replica front lip and either paint match it or leave it black to match the trim pieces. I pretty much have to intentions to paint the black trim pieces anymore. I got school and no time and i have no space and patience to remove the trim pieces off my car.

2. Keep my Current Tsunami front lip. I like it because its different from everyones type r lip. And keep it black like it is right now. and just fix up the scratcheson the bottom and a little on the front of the lip.

and 3rd. keep the Tsunami lip and paint match it to match the car but all the black trim pieces will stay black.

What do you guys think?

Out of the 3? I'd say option 2.

I mean, the lip you have right now is different, and not in a bad way. So why spend money on another lip if you don't have to?

Edit:
Actually, I'd like to add on to that. I'm making my own option... Option Mu: keep your current lip, fix it, and get a Type-R style rear lip (also kept black) to complete the 2-tone look.

lol i've tried the type r rear lip before. I sold it to xsteinbackx. i thought it looks out of place either that or i wasn't use to it. I just did a quick photoshop of paint matching the lip and it looked awkward since the rest of the stuff is black. so right now i'm pretty much leaning towards fixing up my current lip and getting the scratched off and try to get the black on the lip to look like the same black as the moldings. right now its a bit glossy black. i'm going to sand it and see whats underneath the paint.

I have the lip off right now and been driving without front lip for a week. The front end is too plain.

i'm gonna be placing an order for a type r replica front lip. I think i'm going to try to rock that and if that doesnt work i'll be selling it and fixing the tsunami lip. I think its one of those things where i need to buy it and try it to be satisfy whether i like it or not. lol

i think i want something much cleaner and less bulky. I think the type r lip flows with the side skirts better. We'll see if i dont like it and i can't find a si lip i will go lip less.

BTW... anyone got any DIY to installing a type r replica lip. I've seen it somewhere. Or are there just 2 screws on the sides holding the lip in place?

^^ Im planning on making one, but if you want to do it, go for it!

Two screws on the inside of the bumpers, and a bunch on the under side. If you rock out without the screws on the bottom, say good bye to the lip! Ask me how I know I was just lucky to be able to back track on the highway and pick it up off the side of the road.
