Default New Job, New Kit

I jsut got a new job so I thought its time to put off that $700 bill till next pay check, and treat myself with a new body kit.
http://www.2loww.com/96-98Civickitspage.html

Black Widow 2 front bar, Bomex side skirts, Buddy Club rear bar.

Before I hit the buy button, Im just wondering if anyone has any quick advice or warning about the selected kit or the company in question.

paint it before you put it on, and be careful since it is fiberglass

go to wal-mart or home depot or lowe's (assuming there are any of those stores in Australia lol... if not, find a home improvement store) and buy a can of spray-on expanding foam insulation (it's meant for use around doors and windows). Spray it onto the insides of your bumpers and sideskirts. When I did my body kit, I did it little by little (since if you spray too much at once, it'll expand too much and crack the fiberglass) until the kit was filled. You'll have to cut a groove in the foam on the side skirts so they can fit back on the car (when you take the stock sides off, you'll see what I mean), and you'll probably have to cut a little away in the bumpers so they fit correctly. Then, I cut/sanded off the extra so it was nice and smooth. I never got around to fiberglassing and painting over it, but I'll probably do that when I repair my kit anyway. Thanks to the insulation, my front bumper survived impacting a solid snow pile (around here, snowpiles turn to ice really quickly thanks to the bipolar weather during winter lol) sideways at around 25mph with only three small cracks to show for it.

Just go for the full Bomex rather than mix and match IMO

I want to see lots of pictures! Who are you having do the install or are you doing it yourself? I am seriously thinking about doing the Full Buddy Club or Bomex kit myself once I get the money. I love that agressive tuner look it gives the car.

Don't get a fiberglass kit, get a urethane kit. They are stronger and fit better.

I have yet to find a urethane kitthat will fitmy 05 Civic EX. Lots of fiberglass out there thoughs so good luck. There seems to be some out there for older models though.
