Hey I am looking for some new seats in the front and I was thinking of getting some racing seats in the front so I could have a little more support. I still needed the reclining and all that since this is a daily driver but why get new stockers when I could upgrade I guess.

(reason why I am getting new ones is because I am redoing all the interior to black just because I like black and the previous owner smoked in the car some I am trying to get rid of as much as possible. I am doing the headliner pretty soon as I think that other then driver seat most of the smell could be trapped in there.)

So heres the ones I am looking at. I like streetstyler. com they have some good prices on these seats. Think they might be just what I need.

Theres a few of them I pretty much like everything that they have there as long as its black or black/grey. My fav ones are the top ones of course I like the red stitching in it.

Wasnt sure about the leather or if I should get one of the non-leather ones. The top one is like half/half.

Anyone have any experience with these? Are they comfy? Most importantly does anyone know if these will fit in my car w/o to much hassle? If I have to drill I could handle that but welding could be a little crazy for me.

Ya I have been looking at those because they look like those recaro type r ones kinda.....if you know what im talking about. It looks like they are a bit harder then the other ones I am not sure though they just dont say anything about dual density foam. But ya I like those ones alot as well. The first one looks almost exactly like it but it has more features listed for it though.

 

the first one looks good, but IMO leather or leather look will get you slippin and slidin when youre going a lil fast and it gets really ****ing hot when sun is out

 

second pair are the best...the last pair are nice too

 

if you have a coupe make sure you get a recline latch thing...i know with my APC's you gotta crank em foward everytime someone wants to get into the back

 

The last ones are the nicest. I personally want some 99-2000 SI seats I dont have the money though.

 

they all have the quick recline foward and backward thats the only reason I am considering these. I am trying to decide if the 2nd pair which is the type r ones that everyone likes is black or not. They look like a faded black or something. Think the type r ones will be as comfy as the others?
