i have a personal steering wheel with NRG short hub and quick release and hub lock and love it plus it adds an extra layer of security

here is mine, the wheel alone cost quite a bit lol

Wheel:

Quick Release:

Hub:

For that setup right there it would cost you 300 dollars, it'd look really good and you have the quick release.

If you would het a normal hub it would only be 200$ total.

well if you want airbag, then I'd get the AP1 s2000 wheel. Looks nice, will cost the same as these other setups.

I assume you're talking about an aftermarket wheel considering what everyone's posting. If that's the case, a steering wheel is a steering wheel; find one the shape and size you want and get it. I wouldn't cheap out on a quick-release or a hub, though.

Also, I'm just going to throw this out there to cover my own a**... removing a safety device (airbag) from a vehicle and not replacing it with a similar device is illegal in every state. If you live in a state with annual or bi-annual inspections, that could be a problem as it most likely won't pass inspection. If not, you're only risking your own safety; if you're okay with that, have at 'er.

And NRG makes some good stuff on the cheap.

Its called Quick lock hub.
All it does is lock over the quick release so its harder for someone to pop another wheel on and drive away.
