okay..i have a pair of aftermarket racing seats for my civic..and obviously they didnt come with the brackets..so i bought the OBX brackets for a 92-00 Civic. Once they arrived..i noticed that i cant just simply drill holes to make my sliders for the seats fit..because not all the bars on the brackets are flat. there are 2 flat ones..and 2 "cylinder" bars. they are round and i cant just drill into them. there are threaded holes on all 4 holes on the tips of the bars and my friend told me i need to buy a piece that creates basically another "level" above the bracket to bolt the seat and sliders onto. anyone know what this part is called and where i can get one? im not looking to make them myself..hehe

 

Your first problem you bought OBX!!!! send them back and get something else.

 

well....its what i bought..and they are manufactured better than any other Sparco bracket i have seen. i really would like some help with what i have..

hummm well i think the only way your going to fix it is if u fabricat the brackits you have, your going to have to do some welding and cutting..mabey someone else can think of a way but if they dont fit they dont fit

 

hehe, with Sparco you wouldnt be in this predicament..



But, like Mills said, you're probably either going to have to do some fabricating, or order different brackets.
