Default OEM foglights instaled ;)

well after ruffly 3hours or work.... finaly got them on and worken..... so far LOVE EM BUT i need to buy some 6K HIDs for them to match my headlights next

tho it was alittle harder than i thought it would be.....
mainly due to my civic has been wrecked and front bumper wasny OEM.... so unlike the oem bumper that says it was indentations on the back side for where to cut BUT mine didnt
so it was preaty much... cut alittle, test.. and cut alittle more till i had enough out for the fog lights and the bezels..

and the inside fog light wire under the dash was a HUGE PITA!!!!!!!
finding that sucker took forever!!!
thought id post up a few pictures for people that want to put them on thier ride.....

and after i cut the first bumper hole the second one was realy quick.... i just used a dremel. turned out preaty easily..

AND THE TWO WIRES THAT PROBABLY GAVE ME THE HARDEST TIME!!!
under the hood... preaty easy to find.... its between the windshield washer tank and the cruise control box... i took the CC unit out to get to it easier...

AND THE WORST WIRE TO FIND!!!!!!!!! UNDER THE DASH BEHIND THE FUSE BOX....
ITS THE BROWN conector, with 1blue WIRE..... i looked for this dam wire for ruffly an hour or so!!!
the odd part is..... WTF are all those other unused conectors under the dash for.LOL i found at least 3 other conectors taped up with blue tape not going anywhere!

i just have to go outside now and adjust them if they need it.... ive just been waiting for it to get dark out.....

ONLY THING id like to change is when they are activated...... id like to have them ON with just the parking lights.......
shouldnt be to tuff to customize them with switchen around a few wires...
ill try that tomorow tho....
id also like to paint the bezels black... dont care for the silver bezels.....

i think someone should put the pictures of the conectors in the DIY area...... cause im sure im not the only one that has or will have problems finding them!!!!!!!

Yea my fogs were a saving grace when my hid bulbs died..... (yes kids bad projectors are worse than a burned out headlight..). And with mine I can have da fogs on with running, low and high beams... I read on the 99-00's you had to do a wire short in the multi funciton switch to yeild the on with running light function.....HERE is a link to the How-to off h-t, saddly the pics are either down or gone but it's better than not knowing at all.....

Either way congrats on the fogs, I think the ek's look alot better with the oe fogs than with out or with aftermarket units.

thanks... ya im sure that wiring it will be realy easy.... hell they are just ran off a relay... alls i have to do is switch the trigger wire to the parking lot wire..... then it should work with the parking lights.

o ya.... i migh thave also found the reason why my gas milage aint been that good since i instaled my HIDs... the vacume hose on the cruise control unit was off...... ill find out next time i fill up for sure if it hurt the milage that much... ive been geting like 26mpg.... was geting like 32mpg typical....
