Well, as some may know, I recently got a mugen front lip. Since the polyurethane lip was $40 more, I decided on ABS plastic; mistake number one. Well, a week or two passed, and everything's been fine... until today. I was at work (I'm a construction worker) and I was ready to leave for the day. Well, there was a backhoe blocking the gravel road I usually use in the retirement community I've been working in for a while; no big deal, I'll take one of the unfinished dirt roads. Mistake number two. Well, it was all fine and everything until I hit this steep little hill thingy. Not thinking about it, I just drove right down it; everything was going smooth until I hit the bottom where the road became flat again. As near as I can tell, the lip dug into the ground; either way, it now has a nice crack on almost the entire vertical surface; the only thing holding both sides together is a small section at the bottom.

I just spent $80 for a plastic lip; now I get to spend another$110 for a urethane one.

 

consider it an upgrade, lol

we have all been there man. I have a poly front but my rear is ABS. I hit it once but nothing happend.

 

damn bro that sux i just bought a abs lip for my civic and know u got me second guessing.

 

--- sorry to hear that,but thanks--- helps me to decide to spend a liitle more$$$ , have decided on carbon fiber lips and side skirts, not too low --- probably will need a loan for the paint I want.---maybe green ghost flames on satin silver
