Opinion on CF hood

Default Opinion on CF hood

I just wanted to see what your opinions are on oem style CF hood for ek's were.

Do you think they are too ricey?

Do you think they are awesome?

Just curious I am not sure if I wanna shell out the bucks to go CF if I am not going to like it so honest opinion please..

BTW: going on black ek coupe

oem carbon fiber hoods are cool if you have the the money to spend on them to stay with the stock look and lose a small amount of weight.

it really comes down to want you really want though! if you like the look then go for it...thats what makes customizing so fun. its your personal touch and shows your taste....weather its good or bad...its yours.

i have had one for years now and love it, sets mine apart from all the other cars around here

I say go for it. Just make sure to get a decent one (vis seibon etc) because the clear coat and fitment are important. If you are confident in your new hood you can sell your used one on Craigslist to recoupe a little money.

I love CF hoods, they add a nice contrast to a car. But as mentioned, by a name brand to insure fitment and longevity.

I like them, as long as the color of your car goes good with it, which it does.

What color doesnt look good with CF? Other than like...beige or something.

i think the wheels would matter too though. for example, chrome rims and a carbon fiber hood don't usually belong on the same car IMO

i agree....they are two completely different ideals for a car....one is race oriented and the other is all about show and no go.
