Alright... i got the 06 Civic and kept the stock rims. They stock 17's with Michelin tires ( not bad ! ). I was goin to get new rims ( maybe go with some black joints ) but wasnt sure if i should go up in size ( which i cant really afford new tires too right now ) or keep the size 17 and keep the same tires if possible.

I was gonna roll with 18's, just to get away from the odd sizes, but money tells me to stick with the 17's and upgrade again in like 2 years...

what ya'll think ???

 

sounds good to me, 17s are nice, 18 would be super nice too but if you dont have the money, then you mide as well wate and get somthing you really like in the future...the only thing is now that you need to get the tire shop to take your wheels off your existing rims and get them put on your new ones

 

I wouldn't go bigger than 17. My next set of rims will be 16's (I have 15's now).

I'm really starting to like the black rims with the chrome rings like mill$civic's.

 

18s are for bling,

stick with the 17s and keep your dentures intact.

yeah... i was really thinkin about keepin the 17's. Even with just the 17's the ride is a little stiff, and if i got the 18's and they dented, i would be PISSED that i went up a size !

 

most people on here tend to like the 17's, but i know people say that if you wanna like 'race' then to stay with 16's, 17's may just be too big, although they look really sweet, i wouldnt go over 17 though, for sure.

 

im digging my lightweight racing rims for my car, there 15's by the way i ust to have 17's but they were way to big more my eg hatch

 

I did 18's on my ek coupe. They looked alright, but just like drbyers said, they are all for show. Get some 17's and you'll be happy. Save your money for a possible drop i the future.

 

look at the motegi FF7 rims these are what i am getting on my 06 coupe EX (silver)

def 17 or smaller, but if u like bigger rims.. stick with 17 ull love em....

i like the look of 16s, i am workin on gettin some that weigh 14.5 lbs each! BUT yours came with 17, i would keep em that size.
