Default Paint... again

Still trying to figure a nice clean look. I couldn't balance out the red/black with red/black flakes and some bull like that, just started getting frustrated with ideas.

This is a blazer someone wanted done. Top is pearl white, and the bottom is a goldish color which I didn't catch the name of. The paint is fresh in this picture, but I was thinking of gold and black for my hatch, or gold with black flakes even.

With the gold, a carbon fiber hood and smoked lights would stand out a lot more, the only thing I'm worried about is finding interior parts that match

ot: some paint jobs that were laying around the shop today, wish I had time to get them all, just did a 2004 mustang gt, it was navy blue with 2 thick racing stripes, outlined in smaller pin stripes, looks so nice.

leave the stripes to the classics.. anyhow, i rly dont think a black and gold 2 toned hatch would look too good. just my honest opinion. just keep messin with the black with silver flakes, i think that would look wicked

naw, there's not going to be a stripe, and it's not two toned. the exterior will just be a darker gold, with black rims w/ beauty trim. smoked headlights and taillights and as close to illegal as possible tinted glass.. and that signature is sick haha

edit: i was preparing a test panel for black with silver flakes, while my teacher said the silver would just look like dust. i finished the panel and compared it to a dusty black accord, and it really DOES look like it's just dirty black

I think that orange color would look fine on a Civic...

...as long as someone sands down all the orange peel on the clear coat. Its kinda noticeable on that blazer.

You really should just consider a solid color. Just be creative with the color you pick (this doesn't mean pick something really bright just because)

yeah, think I'm sticking with black. I just don't want it to be "black" tho, it's gotta have something unique about it y'know?
