i am going to paint the bottom portion of my dash black. what do i need to clean it with and everything else? i have some krylon fusion paint to paint it with....and what about a clear coat? well, somebody just guide me in the right direction as prepping it and stuff like that and do i need to use a coat of primer or not? thanks!

When painting a hard plastic (bottom part of the dash) prep by wiping the plastic clean with some sort of alcohol and a clean rag/towel. Regular nail polish remover works well.

Let the plastic dry, mask off parts you don't want painted, and spray away. The krylon fusion spray you don't need primer or a clear coat.
