I dont know about the doors thing. Putting a switch in was easy as could be. The whole install is easy once you figure it out. I just ran into a wierd problem. I grounded to a bolt.. that didnt seem to work. Not sure why, so I moved it to another and all was good.

so flexible led's are better that the cathodes?

just to be sure....these ones?: http://www.oznium.com/led-flex-strips

and if so, what length do you think would give off a nice even red glow by drivers and passengers feet?

i useda 9.5" for under my dash (one under each side). i was gonna also add another undereach seat to make it look better. its already pretty bright but if the light comes from both ways it kills any shadows. the next size they offer is 19" and i think that would be overkill.

I just ordered some orange Flex ones, 9.5". Two of them, for under my foot-wells. I ordered that Sunday night, hopefully i'll get it by friday and I can do the install over the weekend. Because, you know how school nights can be stressful, i'm sure. :P.

They look good man, kudos.

I used the 4.7 inch strips and its plenty bright. And more anf it would be too bright I think. And Addiction...how the hell did you get your cup holders out? I cant get them to come out for nothing. I cant get the front half of the console off....like from the shifter back to the cups. I want to do lights in the bottom of the holders....or just completly take them out and put a LCD dvd screen in the spot angled up towards me. And Vilex...be sure to post pics, I almost got orange because im painting my car burnt orange later on....but wasnt sure how they would look....orange,yellowish,amber....

Looks good man! I'm about to do purple in a black hatch. I got the custom dynamics motorcycle led kit. probably going under seats, under dash, lower rear and the air vents. Soft purple on black looks sick.

Yeah...I put one 4.7 under each side of the dash and under each seat facing towards the back footwells. They are bright LEDs. Some colors are brighter than others...I think I read blue were the brightest. It has it listed under tech. info on the oznium site.
